Mary De Jesus Montez, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the age of 86.  She was born on July 27, 1936, in Pleasanton, to Jose Maria Montez and Maria De Jesus (Garcia) Montez.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Maria & Maria De Jesus Montez; brother, Joe Montez; brother and sister-in-law, Juan and Elma Montez; sister, Elena Petra Montez; infant sister, Julianita Montez; nephew, Eluid Montez; and niece, Alma Joyce Jones.

She is survived by her nephews, Eloy Montez (Selma) and Eden Montez (Elizabeth); niece, Edna Martinez (Quelfido); great-niece, Victoria Martinez; and great-nephews, Juan Martinez (America), Marcos Montez and Emilio Montez.

Services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, starting with a visitation at 9:30 am, a reciting of the rosary at 10:30 am, and mass at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Esparza Cemetery, located on Esparza Road, off Hwy 281 North.
