Mary Alice (Henry) Lansford of Jourdanton, Texas went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2014 at the age of eighty seven. She was born to her parents, Walter Linden Henry and Mary Josephine (Byrne) Henry, in Tilden, Texas on June 22, 1927. 

Mary Alice attended school in Fowlerton, Texas and graduated from Bruni High School in 1944. She married Tom Lansford, Sr. on June 24, 1945 in Cotulla, Texas. Mary Alice was a wonderful mother to ten children, and a great grandmother to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was a nurse for over thirty years; she enjoyed cooking and sewing for her family, spending time in her garden, and watering her flowers. 

She is survived by her children Debbie Brister and husband Tommy of Pleasanton, Joan Cornett and husband Ed of Calliham, Jeanne Plocek and husband Frank of Los Angeles, Janell Schulz and husband Chuck of Pleasanton, Sharon Lansford of Missoula, Montana, Robert Lansford and wife Patti of New Braunfels, Roy Lansford and wife Jeri-Lynne of Jourdanton, and Theresa Harrell and husband Frank of Pleasanton. Mary Alice is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Mary Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Linden and Mary Josephine (Byrne) Henry; brothers, Thad "Doc" and Rocky Henry; sister Madge Kuykendall and husband Tom; her oldest son, Tom Ralph Jr.; and daughter, Judy Alice Franklin. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Hurley Funeral Home, 118 W. Oaklawn Road, Pleasanton, from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 15, 2014, at Hurley Funeral Home, Pleasanton, at 10:00 AM.
