Michael Anthony Bermea, age 34, of Charlotte, Texas passed away on September 24, 2026.  Born on December 5, 1991, Michael was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, nephew and friend whose memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. Michael grew up in the church, where the foundation of faith was an important part of his upbringing.  He had a love for music, and especially enjoyed playing the accordion.  He also loved riding his bike and finding joy in the simple things in life.  Michael's greatest legacy lives on through his daughter, Jasmine, who will forever carry a special piece of her father with her. 

He is lovingly survived by his daughter, Jasmine, his mother Rita Bermea, his father Sixto Bermea Jr. and wife Raquel, siblings Anthony Bermea, Vanessa Marie Bermea, Christie Lee Bermea, Analiza Garcia, Krystal Bermea and Gabriel Bermea, his grandmother Anita Lara, his aunts and uncles Gregorio Lara, Ricardo Lara and wife Roberta, Bobby Lara, Connie DeLeon and husband Xavier, Carlos Lara and wife Maria, Robert Gaitan, Sylvia Delgado and husband Juan, and Samuel Bermea, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will carry his memory with them.  Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents Sixto Bermea Sr. and Angie Bermea.

Although Michael's time here was far too short, the love shared with him, the memories made, and the moments his family holds close will remain long after his passing.  His music, his smile, and the memories of the person they knew and loved will continue to live on through his family.

Services for Michael will be on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton, Texas beginning at 10:00 am, with burial to follow at the Charlotte Community Cemetery.

May Michael find peace in the arms of the Lord, and may his family find comfort knowing that love does not end with goodbye.

Michael will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
