Michael Shane Stockton of Pleasanton passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025 with his family by his side. He was born in San Antonio, on Tuesday, December 14, 1971 to Douglas Arthur and Linda Lee (Rains) Stockton.

Michael won All-State in football and was State Champion in swimming while attending Floresville High School. He enjoyed landscaping. Woodworking was also one of his many talents. Michael had a strong faith, and would make wooden crosses to share with people.

He is survived by his loving family; wife, Cathy Riley; mother, Linda Stockton; sons, Michael Shane Stockton Jr. and wife Brianna, and Isaiah Chance Stockton and brother, Jason Kelly Stockton. Michael is also survived by his grandson, Elvis Allen Stockton, and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Arthur Stockton.

Michael will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation and funeral services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Hurley Funeral Home, with visitation starting at 10:00 am followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. Services will conclude at the chapel.
