Obituary

Minnie R. Cisneros went to be with the Lord on 5 February 2024 at the age of 94.  She passed away at home with her loved ones by her side. Minnie was born on 20 March 1929 in Campbellton, Texas.

She grew up in Campbellton and this is where she met her husband. They married on 24 December 1947 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Campbellton. When her husband passed away in 2002, they had been married for almost 55 years.  They raised two children in Campbellton then eventually moved to Pleasanton, Texas.  She began her employment at Mercy Hospital in 1961 and retired 40 years later from TriCity Hospital in Jourdanton, Texas in 2001.

In her mid-seventies just a couple of years post-retirement, she became a part-time caregiver to her severely autistic great-grandson.  Her last occupation was more of a vocation.  That is, it exemplified her life's purpose which was to love us without limits and to share her relentless strength with all of us.

Minnie's children consist of two children, five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, seventeen great-great grandchildren, and over two dozen godchildren.

Minnie was preceded in death by her parents Pedro and Trinidad Rosales, husband Antonio Cisneros, and children Eleanor Huizar and Jerry Cisneros.

Minnie is survived by the following grandchildren: Rachel Gomez, Sonya Arzola, Gabriel Huizar, John Paul Huizar, and Gina Chincarini.  She is also survived by the following great grandchildren: Joshua Solis, Amanda Arguijo, Nicholas Solis, Kristan Lopez, Julienna Gomez, Asher Arzola, Lola Arzola, Kyra Huizar, Ezra Huizar, Veronica Garza, and Andrea Villalobos.  Lastly, she is survived by her great-great grandchildren:  Laylah Robles, Leonidas Arguijo, Arkillius Arguijo, Legacy Arguijo, Omega Arguijo, Artemisia Arguijo, Able Arguijo, Nathan Arguijo, Jaymien Solis, Adelina Solis, Colten Solis, Jayden Villalobos, Jayce Villalobos, Jonah Villalobos, Liam Garza, and Camila Garza.

Minnie Cisneros was the matriarch of our family. We were truly blessed to know her once in a lifetime kind of love.
