Patricia "Patti" Kathleen Sullivan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2025, in San Antonio, surrounded by her loving family. Patti was born on February 28,

1942, in El Paso to Patrick Henry and Kathleen (Sutherland) O'Toole. From an early age, Patti's curiosity and zest for life set her on a path filled with joy, creativity, and service. Her love for singing and dancing blossomed

during her teenage years, when she, along with her sister Mollie and best friends Carolyn and Mary Lou, became local entertainers at the El Morrocco Club. These formative experiences ignited a lifelong passion for the arts.

Patti's deep sense of service was evident in her commitment to helping others, particularly through her work at All Saints Episcopal Church, where she was an active and cherished member for many years. As Senior Warden, she served alongside Father Bob and Father King, and she founded the Table Parents Program, which empowered families by offering education on nutrition, social graces, and the importance of family involvement. Patti also shared her infectious spirit with children, entertaining them as "Precious the Clown," spreading joy wherever she went.

A lover of nature, Patti's passion for flowers blossomed into the realization of a dream when she opened Creations by O'Toole, her own flower shop. As a certified Master Florist, Patti poured her love and creativity into every floral design, creating beautiful, heartfelt masterpieces for her clients. Her passion also extended to other creative pursuits, including painting, crocheting, cooking, refinishing furniture, and an array of arts and crafts. Her home was a reflection of her boundless creativity, and her love for the beauty of life was evident in all that she touched. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Patti dedicated much of her time to volunteer work, giving generously to numerous organizations, families, and causes. Her commitment to others was matched only by her incredible strength and resilience, which carried her through surviving breast cancer and maintaining a 45-year commitment to sobriety through her dedication to Bill W.

Patti's greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her daughter, Kelli Gaba, and her children, Meagan Hernandez, Lindsey Lyon, and Connor Gaba, along with her beloved great grandchildren, Lily and Ben Hernandez and Lacy and Landon Lyon; her son, Patrick Andrew Sullivan, and his wife Cindy, along with their daughter, Abby Sullivan; and her daughter, Shannon Sullivan, and her children, Madison Hall and husband Tyler, and Kyle Randall and wife Andrea Rowe, along with her cherished great grandchildren, Amelia Hall and Lilly Randall.

Patti is also survived by her sister, Mollie Nava, and her children, Christa, Natalie, Tricia, and Curt, along with their children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Fern Sullivan, who fondly referred to her as "Tunia" and her parents, Patrick O'Toole, Kathleen and Tom Power.

Her magic, generosity, strength, wit, courage, unwavering faith and eternal light shines on in everyone referenced here, as well as the countless others whose lives she's positively impacted. Patti's legacy of love, care, and creativity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. A memorial service will be held in Round Rock, Texas, on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
