In Loving Memory of Patrick Noel McHazlett
Patrick Noel McHazlett went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at the age of 19. He was born on October 2, 2003, in Jourdanton, where he was the oldest of three siblings. Patrick Noel McHazlett brought light and joy to the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Patrick was a proud Texan and a hardworking individual. He graduated in 2022 from Charlotte High School. With a diploma in hand, he embarked on a career as a welder in the oilfield pipeline industry. His dedication and skill were admired by all who worked alongside him. In his free time, Patrick spent as much time as he could at his grandparent's ranch, that he loved - fishing, hunting, shredding fields and listening to Texas country music. His passion for these pursuits was unmatched, and he found solace and contentment in the great outdoors.
Known for his infectious smile and warm personality, Patrick had a remarkable ability to light up any room he entered. He cherished his loved ones and valued the time spent together. Through his laughter and kindhearted nature, he taught us the importance of living life to the fullest, treasuring every moment as if it were his last.
Patrick Noel McHazlett was the beloved son of Naomi Parsons (Paul) and Justin McHazlett (Gwen Olivarez). He is also survived by his two siblings, Mariah Gaitan and Ethan Gaitan; great-grandparents, Robert and Janie Regalado (sons, Jacob, John and Johnny); great-grandfather, Miguel Delgado; grandparents, Adan and Sandra Partida (daughter, Aracely Partida), Daniel and Dale McHazlett (son, Jessie Jo Tijerina), and David and Sarah Delgado (son, Steven Delgado and daughter, Alicia Garcia); along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Ronnie Jo Tijerina; great-great grandmother, Martha Benavides and great-grandmother, Alice Delgado.
Please join us in celebrating Patrick's life starting with a visitation on Monday, October 9, 2023, in the Hurley Funeral Home chapel, starting at 4:00 pm, with a reciting of the rosary at 7:00 pm. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, October 10, 2023, starting at 10:00 am at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, located at Ave F & 10th Street in Christine, followed by his burial at Gonzales Cemetery.
As we bid farewell to our dear Patrick, let us remember him with love, gratitude, and a celebration of a life that so profoundly touched ours. He will forever remain in our hearts, and his radiant spirit will continue to guide us, reminding us to cherish the precious moments we have with our loved ones.
