It is with heavy hearts that we celebrate the life of Paulita Alaniz Bautista, who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on February 21, 1932, in Charlotte, Texas, Paulita dedicated her life to her family and created a warm and nurturing home for those she loved.
She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Cazier and husband Javier Gutierrez; sons, Robert P. Bautista, Sr. and wife Dianna, Ricardo J. Bautista; Randall L. Bautista, Sr. and wife Rachel; sisters, Andrea Cumpian, Estefana Tijerina, Gina Thomas and husband Nathan; grandchildren, Paul E. Cazier, Joseph Cazier, Robert P. Bautista, Jr. and wife Stephanie Trevino, Veronica M. Hartman and husband Russell, Crystal Ann Ortiz and husband Andrew, Randall L. Bautista, Jr., Rhianna R. Bautista, Renee J. Bautista; 6 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Tiodoro Bautista; her parents, Gavriel and Genoveva Alaniz; son, Ruben A. Bautista and daughter in law Leticia Leal Bautista.
A dedicated homemaker and loving mother, Paulita embodied the spirit of hard work and devotion. She was tenacious, with an unwavering commitment to her family and a willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her immediate family; her heart was as vast as her green thumb, as she found joy in tending to her plants and raising chickens, sharing the bounty of her efforts with those around her.
Paulita found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether it was camping outings filled with laughter and music, or gathering with loved ones, she brought people together with her warm smile and kind spirit. She took pride in everything she did and instilled those values in her children, who carry on her legacy.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 am with a rosary to be recited at 11:30 am followed by a mass at 12:00 pm on Friday, March 28, 2025, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Charlotte, Tx. Interment at Charlotte Community Cemetery.
