Pedro A. Rosales Jr., passed away peacefully at home with his wife and family by his side, July 14, 2025.
Pedro A. Rosales Jr. was born in Campbellton, Texas. September 2, 1935 to Pedro A. Rosales and Trinidad Tejeda Rosales. Pedro grew up in Campbellton, he loved exploring the Atascosa River and wooded areas. He also was a great dancer and met his wife Alice A. Silva at Torres Dance Hall. He graduated in 1955 and went on to join the Air Force in October, 1955. In 1958, he married the love of his life at El Carmen Catholic Church, celebrating on August 3, 67 years of marriage.
Pedro is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro A. and Trinidad Rosales. Brothers: Jose Rosales and Juan Rosales. Sisters: Minnie Cisneros, Trinidad Ramon Noriega, Tomasita Herlinda Guerra, and Monica Rosales. Survived by his wife of 67 years Alice A. Rosales, sister Rita Sanchez, children: Priscilla (Jesse) Gallardo, Pete A. (Yvette) Rosales, Patricia (David) Carranza. Grandchildren: Amelia Jones, David D. Carranza, Hannah Rosales, Jasmine Carranza, Jordan Rosales, Joshua Rosales, Jacob Rosales, Sierra Carranza and Haley Rosales. Great Grandchildren: Tetra, Niko, Ren, Lenny Carranza and Elijah Rosales.
Dad was the patriarch of the family, and he guided us through life. He was strong in his faith and was proud that his children followed his lead. He left us with life lessons of courage, strength, and determination. He made many sacrifices for his family and country but never regretted it. He loved serving in the Air Force and was an excellent sheet metal mechanic on aircrafts. He will be so greatly missed. All services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Campbellton, Texas on Friday, July 25, 2025. Starting with visitation at 9:00 am, a reciting of the rosary at 10:00 am and a celebration of mass at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Campbellton City Cemetery. A gathering will begin at 1:30 pm at Lions Club in Pleasanton, Texas, 114 Wyoming St., Pleasanton, Tx. 78064.
