Our Father Pedro (Pete) Pablo Padilla peacefully passed on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. He was born on June 29, 1946 and was about to turn 75. He had a heart of gold and smiled even when he was sad. He loved his children Elvira Padilla and Pedro S. Padilla Jr. dearly and called them daily. He was proud of them. He loved his grandkids Ashley Fournier, Patrick Harris, Beverly, Macy, and Papa. He often spoke about his late parents Teodora and Francisco Padilla and how much he missed them. He loved his girlfriend Maria Gonzales and the many years of movie watching they spent together. He also leaves behind his brother Frank Padilla and nieces and nephews, Mary Ann, Cynthia, Amy, and Joelle; children, Elvira Padilla, Pedro S. Padilla, grandchildren  Ashley Fournier and Patrick Harris. His partner, Mary Gonzales. His family-friends, Rosalinda Cook, Rebecca Gomez, Arlene Gomez, Ruben Gomez, and the late Anthony Gomez.

He loved his Mexican food and beer. Pete Padilla, our father was very kind, loyal, and always wanted to help even when he could not. We know he is dancing in Heaven with his Mama, Papa, and his sister Gloria. We gained a guardian angel and Heaven gained a cherub angel. He will forever be in our hearts, memories, and will always remember him. Until we meet again at Heavens Gates. We love you Daddy.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021, 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service held at 3:00 P.M. Hurley Funeral Home Pearsall, Texas with services concluding at the funeral home.
