Rebecca "Becky" Garcia Arreola

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rebecca "Becky" Garcia Arreola, who left this world on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the age of 56. Born on Wednesday, July 29, 1970, in Poteet, to the late Leonardo and Beatrice (Carrasco) Garcia. Becky was an irreplaceable presence in the lives of those who knew her. 

She is survived by her cherished spouse, Arnold Arreola; sons, Arturo Guerra Jr. and wife Jessica, Jonathan Michael Guerra, Anthony Garza and Jamie Solis; stepchildren, Jonathan Arreola and Angela Rosales, Jessica Arreola and Brian Salinas, Veronica Gonzalez and Jose Gonzalez; and siblings, Johnny Joe Garcia, Mary Jane G. Chavez and husband Tommy, Orie G. Solis, Terri G. Buentello and husband Bobby. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and special friend, Elvia "Coach" Tellez.

A celebration of Becky’s life will be held to honor her memory, providing a space for family and friends to come together to reminisce and pay their respects. Services will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, on Friday, September 4, 2026, with visitation starting at 1:00 pm followed by a celebration of life at 3:00 pm.

With heartfelt gratitude, we encourage those who wish to remember Becky to reflect on the joy she brought into their lives and to carry her legacy of compassion forward. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of many.
