Rebecca Ann Robertson, 78, of Pleasanton, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 31, 2023, surrounded by her husband and 2 sons.

Rebecca was born on October 22, 1945, in San Antonio, Texas to Raymond and Elizabeth Rasor.  She graduated from Highlands High School in 1963 and attended college at the University of Texas.

She had many jobs over her life, but her true calling was working with the elderly as an activity director at several nursing homes in the local community.

Rebecca loved animals, gardening, going to antique stores, crafting and baking.  She was passionate about any and all things Longhorn, Cubs baseball and Saints football.  She enjoyed traveling to the coast and going into the mountains in Colorado and New Mexico.  Rebecca was a fantastic wife, momma, and nana to her family and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Elizabeth, Rasor; in-laws, George and Margaret Robertson; daughter, Karen Ann Powell; and grandson, Michael Powell.

Rebecca is survived by husband of 52 years, George Robertson; sons, Kenny (Leah) Robertson, and J. P. Robertson; daughter, Lisa (Bernard) Higdon; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and brother, Raymond Lewis Rasor, Jr.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, January 6, 2024, in the Hurley Funeral Home chapel, starting with a visitation from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, with a funeral service at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Pleasanton City Cemetery.
