Ricardo C. Jaramillo, a beloved member of the community known for his dedication to his craft as a carpenter and his love for the outdoors, passed away on June 29, 2024. Born on November 11, 1958, in San Antonio, TX. Throughout his life, Ricardo found joy in working with his hands, particularly in carpentry, where he excelled.

Ricardo spent his years as a laborer, utilizing his skills in carpentry to help those around him and provide for his family. He was a kind-hearted man who enjoyed fixing things and assisting others. Ricardo had a special affinity for nature and cherished moments caring for the animals on the ranch.

Outside of work, Ricardo took pleasure in dressing up, often pairing his outfits with his cherished cowboy hat and boots.  He loved family nights playing loteria and listening to music and dancing.  He was always a good person through the good times and the bad till the end.

Ricardo is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Hershman and Jessica Jaramillo (Luis Tijerina), his son, Ricardo Jaramillo (Sky Delgado); sisters Connie, Joann, Gloria and Yolanda; grandchildren Bobbie Jean, Ronnie Dale, Justin Ray, Mia Lynn, Christian Ray, Alec Zander, Ethan Jaymes, Aayden Christopher, Joe Angel, Mariah Elizabeth, Ashley Nicole, Aryanna Marie, Santiago Rick and Christopher Ray; great-grandchildren Calliope Jean and Isaias William; as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives..

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ricardo's life at a public viewing to be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton, TX, on July 9, 2024, starting at 1:00 pm. A Rosary in remembrance of Ricardo will be offered at 1:30 pm, followed by a formal Celebration of Life ceremony at 2:00 pm.

Ricardo was preceded in death by: his beloved wife Elizabeth Rodriguez; parents Rodolfo and Ernestina Jaramillo; brothers Rudy and Roy; and sisters Esperanza, Angie and Mary.
