Robert Duren Chisholm (Tinkerbell as he was known on the Railroad) born November 18, 1952 passed away peacefully June 9th. He is preceded in passage by his father John Joesph Chisholm, his mother Elizabeth Duren Chisholm and his brother John Joesph Chisholm.

He was raised by his Grandmother Dee Dee who had taken over for both of the boys when his mother developed Polio.

Most of his close friends have known him for over 50 years. He graduated from Highland High School in 1972.

Robert started working for Missouri Pacific Railroad on April 29th 1974 and went into Engine service. He worked as a Fireman for some months before being promoted to Engineer. From there he worked in the Engineers Extra Board operating positions but mostly to Taylor, Texas. Some of his fondest memories were working with the guys, running to Taylor, Texas and staying at that 5 star hotel, The Blazmar, having a fabulous dining experience at the Downtown Cafeteria or just having a nice meal from Chef Alvin at the Hotel. He was married for 23 years to Debbie Agee. After the two mutually departed he moved out past Jourdanton where he remained. He had a lot of visitors to help him on his ranch and visits to town for breakfast or lunch with friends.

He'll always be remembered as the swag smiling guy, who loved his dogs, loved his close Pleasanton friends, loved to play golf with Superman Bennett and play pool with Shark shooter Dave Viva. We'd also like to acknowledge his friend Gwen Whitley who has helped us walk through a lot of this with Bob during this difficult time.

In celebration of Robert, a visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Hurley Funeral Home starting at 3:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 4:00 pm.
