Robert Lee Duncan Sr. of Pleasanton, Texas went to be with his Lord on April 15,2022 at the age of 92.

He was born in Clarkdale, Arizona on December 18, 1929, to Robert Curtis and Irene Duncan.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Louise Denson Duncan, and by his children and their spouses; Linda Duncan Winters, and her husband Doug, Darla Duncan Royal and her husband Lee, and Robert Lee Duncan Jr and his wife Karen; his brothers Grady Duncan of Mt Pleasant Texas. and Jack Duncan of Ft Worth Texas; 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews.

He retired from Civil service at the San Antonio Real Property Maintenance Agency with 33 years of service. At SARPMA he was responsible for real estate maintenance on the Joint Military Bases in the San Antonio area. Upon retirement he built his dream home in the Verdi community near Pleasanton, Texas. The construction of this home developed into the formation of Duncan Construction Company where he built or remodeled numerous homes in the area for friends and family. Bob was a talented craftsman and his talents included design, cabinetry, and wood working. His last project was working with the building committee at the Pleasanton Church of Christ, where they designed and supervised the construction of the Fellowship Hall expansion.

Bob served as an Elder in the Church of Christ for over 50 years at two congregations, Houston Terrace Church of Christ in San Antonio and at the Pleasanton Church of Christ.

A memorial service will be held Sunday April 24, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasanton Church of Christ.
