Robert Lalo Garcia passed away peacefully at the age of 61 in his home on September 12, 2025. He was born on July 8,1964 and was the youngest of four children to Mike and Consuelo Garcia.
Robert graduated from McCollum High School in 1982. He then pursued a career as an engineer in telecommunications where he earned his associates degree while attending National Education Center. Robert became an engineer for AT&T, providing 35 dedicated years of service until his retirement in 2018. In that time, he helped build a vast network, connecting many families and friends across South Texas. Robert was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing and traveling with his family. Robert served his community as a little league coach while also volunteering his time and services to St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Jourdanton, Texas.
Robert was a sturdy beacon of support for his loving family.
Robert is survived by his mother Consuelo Garcia, his daughter Bianca and her husband David, grandchildren Gabrielle, Xavier and Calliope Ramirez. Sisters Mary Cruz and Elvira G. Salas. His loving nephew Mikey and his wife Clara Garcia among many other loving nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members.
Robert is preceded in death by his father Mike Garcia, and brother Miguel Garcia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, at Hurley Funeral Home, 118 W. Oaklawn Road in Pleasanton, Texas 78064, from 3pm-7pm, with a rosary being recited from 7pm-8pm.
Celebration of life Mass will be held on Friday, October 3rd, 2025, at EL Carmen Church & Cemetery, 18555 Leal Road in San Antonio, Texas 78221, at 11am. Interment to follow immediately after mass

Robert will forever be in our hearts and will continue to live on in the memories you all hold dear to you. Celebrate his life, share his stories so his legacy lives on.
