Robert "Bill" Willis Johnson

Robert "Bill" Willis Johnson, 76, of Poteet, TX, passed away August 13, 2026, in San Antonio. Born in Goose Creek (Baytown), TX, to Willis and Gladys Johnson. Bill was a man of incredible spirit and humor.

His family was his proudest achievement. Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda Browning Johnson of Poteet, TX; his loving daughters, Brittany Pope (Joel) and Chelsea Raschke (Daniel); his cherished grandchildren, Caleb Chambers (Kelsee), Raven Warren (Joe), Mia Pope, Skylar Campa, Kymberli Raschke, and Noah Raschke; and his precious great-granddaughters, Emma Chambers and Layla Warren. He is also survived by his brothers, Jim Johnson (Susan) and Mike Johnson (Rosie); and his parents-in-law, Carlton and Aleene Browning.

He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Kymberli Campa, and his parents, Willis and Gladys Johnson.

Bill was an avid golfer, diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, and a legendary motorcycle enthusiast who logged over 300,000 miles on his 2000 Harley Road King, where everyone knew him as Wild Bill. Even when neurological issues took the use of his legs, his drive to ride every day remained unbroken. He will be deeply missed and remembered fondly for his love of family, determination, and floating the Frio River in his floral bike pants and sombrero.

A public service will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, August 28, 2026, with visitation preceding at 10:30 AM at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton, TX.
