Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Roberta Gayle Ingle, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. Born on November 24, 1940, in Superior, WI, Roberta peacefully left this world on April 26, 2024, in San Antonio, TX. She was a caring and vibrant soul whose presence touched the lives of many.

Roberta's life was defined by her passion for sewing, tending to plants and flowers, and her unwavering faith in God. Her beautiful voice could often be heard singing hymns at church, where she found solace and community through bible study. Her culinary skills were unmatched, and her love for animals knew no bounds, always ensuring even the strays were cared for.

A dedicated employee at Intermatic, Roberta found joy in her work as a Punch Press operator among some of the titles she held during her 30+ years career there. She treasured her independence, fearlessness, and love for travel, often taking spontaneous road trips to explore new places. Roberta adored her family and cherished every moment spent with them.

Roberta was known for her genuine connections with people, be it her family, friends, or even the employees at her local Whataburger, whom she treated like family, baking birthday cakes and spreading joy wherever she went. She will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, and unwavering love for those around her.

Roberta is preceded in death by her parents Peter Wesler and June VanCuren; nephew Dale, niece Shelby, and another nephew Emmet.
