It is with great love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Roger M. Perez Sr. (68). He passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024, in Jourdanton. Roger was born on Friday, October 21, 1955, in Pleasanton, to Adan and Guadalupe (Montemayor) Perez.

Roger was a loving, caring husband, and father. He worked in construction for H.B. Zachry for years and loved his job.  He was hard working, loved to travel for work and enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adan and Guadalupe Perez; and nephew, Jason Perez.

Roger is survived by his loving wife, Diana Perez; daughters, Celestine Gibson, Saprina Perez, Gabrielle Perez, Krysta Lambardia, and Samantha Pacheco; sons, Roger Perez Jr., Charles M. Pacheco, David Pacheco; brothers, Johnny Perez (Mary Esther) and Albert Perez; sisters, Olga Lambardia (Alfred) and Rosemary Perez (Albert Guerra); grandchildren, Brenna Gibson, Lexi Gibson, Marcus Gonzales, Elijah Morin, Joeray Morin, Ezekiel Perez, Alyssa Monjaras, Ayron Monjaras, Alek Monjaras, Aralynn Monjaras and numerous extended family.

A visitation for Roger M. Perez, Sr. is scheduled for April 6, 2024, starting at 8:00 am, followed by a reciting of the rosary at 10:00 am, and a mass at 11:00 am, all at St. Philip of Benizi Catholic Chruch.  Burial of ashes will follow at Madre Dolorosa #1 in Poteet.
