It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Roman 0. Born on February 28, 1934, Roman called Charlotte, Texas, home for many years, where he became known as a remarkable "fixer-upper" who could mend anything and create better solutions in life. His mastery of various trades, from plumbing and carpentry to electrical work, made him a reliable resource for family and friends. He was a devoted Christian, a devoted husband and father. Furthermore, he found comfort and happiness in the presence of his loved ones.
Roman proudly served Atascosa County for over three decades, devoting his skills and work ethic to improving the lives of those around him. Up until just a week before his hospitalization, he remained passionate about his work and showed no signs of slowing down, reflecting his unwavering commitment and resilience to his craft and those he served.

A public viewing will take place on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hurley Funeral Home, culminating in a prayer service that evening at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, at 10:00 AM, also at Hurley Funeral Home, where we will gather to honor and reflect on the life of this extraordinary man. Following the service, Roman will be laid to rest in Jourdanton, Texas at San Jose Cemetery.
