With deep love and profound sorrow, the family announces the passing of Rosa Rodriguez Coffey on November 10, 2025. Rosa was born on September 22, 1942, to Guillermo and Esperanza Rodriguez, who preceded her in death, along with her beloved brother Robert Rodriguez.
Rosa was a woman of tremendous heart, strength, and kindness. She devoted her life to her family and to creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. She shared a beautiful and loving marriage with Allen Coffey, a partnership built on deep respect, devotion, and 54 years of cherished memories together.
She is survived by her loving son Raymond Coffey and his wife Juana Coffey, and her cherished daughter Cynthia Coffey and her husband Bradley Robbins. Rosa was also a proud step-grandmother to Hanna and Dyana Salinas, who brought her immense joy and pride.
She is fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Juanita Esquivel, Edna Coffey, and Janice Coffey, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Rosa's life was a beautiful example of love, perseverance, and faith. Her laughter, her stories, and her nurturing spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness that touched countless lives, including the students she supported during her years as a teacher's aide at Pleasanton Elementary (Pleasanton ISD).
Her love, her warmth, and the beautiful marriage she shared will remain alive in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home. Funeral mass will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, with interment to follow at St. Andrew Cemetery #2.
