Roy H. Trevino, 65, of Pleasanton TX, was called to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on January 15, 2023. He passed away peacefully at his residence. He was born on February 11, 1957 in Jourdanton, TX to Jesse C. Trevino and Florentina Huizar Trevino. Roy was the oldest of 7 children and learned a strong work ethic from a young age. He began working for H‑E‑B at the age of 16 and he continued to be a dedicated employee learning and advancing his career in multiple capacities before retiring as General Manager. He was with H‑E‑B for 39 yrs when he retired in 2014. Roy loved his children and his family sooo much. He was a simple, humble man who enjoyed country living, feeling the breeze on the front porch, bird watching, or just admiring the stars. He loved to bird hunt, relax with a beer, have a family bar-b-que, and loved telling jokes. He was a caring, gentle, and generous man that enjoyed helping others any way he could, spending time in scripture, and sharing laughs with his family and friends.

Roy is preceded in death by his Father Jesse C. Trevino; Sister Linda T. Silva, Nephew John Anthony Leyva, and Brother-in-law Richard Cordova Jr.

He is survived by his Mother Florentina Trevino; ex-wife and beloved friend Olivia B. Trevino; children Stephanie N. Trevino and husband Robert P. Bautista Jr, Simona L. Luna and husband David Luna and his son Roy Richard Trevino Jr.; siblings Diane T. Leyva and husband Johnny Leyva, Daniel H. Trevino and wife Rebecca Trevino, Martha T. Cordova, Jesse H. Trevino Jr. and wife Diane Trevino, Lawrence H. Trevino and wife Brenda Trevino; Grandchildren Robert P. Bautista III, Allyson N. Bautista, David Luna III, Marcus Luna, Penny Luna, Aiden Jay Trevino, and Richard Manuel
Trevino; and one great-granddaughter Jeannie U. Bautista. Roy also had many wonderful nieces and nephews and many many friends that were special and dear to him.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, with reciting of the rosary at 11:00 am and funeral mass at 11:30 am all at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 626 Market St. Pleasanton, TX under the direction of Hurley Funeral Home. Burial to follow at San Ysidro Cemetery
