Ruben Vazquez of Charlotte passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023, at the age of 70.  He was born on July 28, 1952, to Ruben and Maria Consuelo Vazquez.

He is survived by his mom, Maria Consuelo Vazquez; beloved wife, Alma Patricia (Ybarra) Vasquez; children, Ruben Vasquez, Jr., Vanessa Vasquez, Robert Vasquez, and wife Jaclyn, Luz Clara Guadalupe Vasquez and husband, Dusty Hurst, and Andrea Juarez; brothers, Celso Vazquez and Eleazar Vazquez; sisters, Rosa Vazquez, Beatrice Juarez, Consuelo Vazquez, and Juana Vazquez.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jayden Rodriguez, Brayden Rodriguez, Jaylene Gamino, Ariel Sebastian Gamino, Lian Vasquez, Flor Vasquez, Sarai Vasquez, Daleisa Vasquez, Edward Vasquez, and Sophia Hurst; and great-granddaughter, Sofia Maite Colunga Vasquez.

Ruben is preceded in death by his father, Ruben Vazquez and sister, Lucia Vazquez.
