It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rudy Castillo III, beloved husband, father, son, and friend. Born on November 13th , 1970 in Pleasanton, Texas, Rudy passed away peacefully on March 6th , 2025.

He was the cherished husband of Holly Castillo for 25 years, and father to Rudy Castillo IV and Sierra Nicole Castillo. Rudy will forever be remembered for his larger-than-life personality, infectious laugh, and love for life.

Rudy's greatest love was his family. He enjoyed a good round of golf and any chance he could get to barbecue.

He is survived by his wife, Holly Kay Castillo; son, Rudy Castillo IV; daughter, Sierra Nicole Castillo; mother, Delia Castillo; brother, Jacob Castillo; and sisters, Jennifer Zuniga and husband Ruben, and Kimberly Castillo. Rudy is also survived by his loving in-laws.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rudy Castillo Jr; grandparents, Tomas L. Chapa, Eusdela Chapa, Rudy Castillo Sr., and Eloisa Castillo, his uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Rudy will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his positivity and joy.

Services are scheduled for Thursday, March 13, 2025, starting with a visitation from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, with a reciting of the rosary at 7:00 pm.  A mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 14, 2025, at St. Andrew Catholic Church starting at 11:00 am.  Services will conclude at that time.
