Ruth Donnie Clark Mahula, of Pleasanton, passed away March 24, 2020, at the age of 100 at home with her daughter, son and granddaughter by her side. Ruth was born in Pleasanton, Tx., November 17, 1919 to Donald F. Clark and Ollie Amanda Clark.

In 1977, Ruth and her husband Curtis moved from Houston to Pleasanton, where they were both born. They built and opened produce business, Pleasanton Farmers Co-op. Their business was a source of happiness for 16 years. Many friendships were made through the years. When her working days ended Ruth loved line dancing and going on trips with the ladies Senior Circle. She was an avid walker and walk 2 or 3 miles a day up into her 90's. In her 80's she learned to paint. She became quite an accomplished self taught artist. She loved baseball and attended every game of her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren she was able to.

Ruth enjoyed her life and was grateful for every minute of it as well as her family was grateful to have her in our lives for so long. She will leave a large void in the family and will be greatly missed and leaves us with many wonderful memories.

Ruth is survived by her son Curtis Mahula Jr. and wife Betty, and daughter Susan Mahula. Grandchildren Donna Prasifka and husband David, Cliff Kocian and wife Sylvia, Jennifer Mahula, Lindsay Croft, Curtis Mahula lll, Cody Mahula and wife Ashton, Chris Wiggins and wife Tammy, Jonathan Wiggins, Jeremy Wiggins and wife Jenny and Dustin Pelle and wife Amanda. 21 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Curtis Mahula Sr. Daughters Donnie Elaine Mahula and Mavis Ollene Mahula, sister Susie Clark, grandsons Charles Kocian Jr and Christopher Kocian, son in law John Pelle and her parents Donald Forrest and Ollie Amanda Clark.

We would like to thank Trinity Hosice, her nurses Terry, Monica, Jacqueline, Tanya our social worker and aid Rebecca for their loving care and support. Chaplin Jose Suniga for his visits and prayers. Scotty Smith for his calls and prayers.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
