Sandy
Castillo
Nov 14, 1966 — Jan 30, 2025
Pleasanton
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Sandy D. Castillo, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, who fell asleep in Jesus on January 30, 2025 at the age of 58.
Sandy dedicated her life to her family, her faith, and serving others. She was the heart of our home, always offering warmth, wisdom, and unconditional love. A devoted wife to Alfredo Castillo for 41 years, their marriage was a beautiful testament to faith, commitment, and partnership. Together, they built a family grounded in love, raising 4 children: Alfredo Jr, Jennifer, Angel, and Desiree, who will forever cherish the lessons she taught and the love she so freely gave.
Her greatest joy was being a grandmother, and she embraced this role with the same devotion and kindness that defined her life. She brought laughter, encouragement, and endless hugs to her grandchildren, leaving them with treasured memories and a legacy of love.
A faithful servant of God, Sandy was an active member of the Atascosa 1st Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where she dedicated countless hours to ministry, community outreach, and lifting up others through prayer and acts of kindness. She believed in the power of faith, compassion, and generosity, touching countless lives through her service.
She is preceded in death by her father Jose' Bentura Dominguz and father-in-law Anecleto Castillo.
She is survived by her loving husband, Alfredo Castillo Sr., children: Alfredo Jr. and spouse Amy Castillo, Jennifer and spouse RL Simpson, Angel and spouse Isa Castillo, Desiree and spouse Hamzah Qayum. Grandchildren: Aidan, Asher, Quaide, Shawn, Joshua, Christopher, Jemma, Eleni, Rowan, Davion, Elijah, Noor Safiyah, and Ismail. Mother and Stepfather: Margarita and Ambrosio Aguero. Mother-in-law: Margarita Castillo. Siblings: Jose' Dominguez, Noemy Rivera, Brenda Soliz , Sylvia Hunt, Sister-in-laws: Lorena Dominguez, Gracie Robles, April Martinez, Petra Bosquez, Katie Castillo, and Diana Ramirez. Brother-in-laws: Ryan Hunt, Javier Soliz, Johnny Castillo, Oscar Castillo, Allan Castillo, Gustavo Ramirez and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends and church family who will miss her dearly.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that when Jesus returns, He will raise her up and we will be reunited with her in that heavenly kingdom. Her legacy of love, faith, and service will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Highland Hills Seventh-day Adventist Church with a viewing beginning at 10am and service at 11am.
We will miss you dearly!
