In loving memory of Sharon Bishop, a cherished mother, mimi, daughter, sister, and homemaker, who passed away on October 19, 2024, at her residence in Von Ormy, Texas. Born in San Antonio on October 12, 1943, Sharon's life was a tapestry of love, warmth and sometimes sassy spunk.

Her heart overflowed with love for her grandchildren, whom she adored and spoiled with joyous abandon. Sharon's dedication to her role as a homemaker and wife spanned 61 beautiful years, filled with moments of pure love and affection.

Sharon's life was a testament to creativity and passion, as she found delight in the art of sewing, crafting, painting ceramics, and bringing holiday cheer through her festive decorations. Her love for decorating, especially during the Christmas season, brought light and happiness to her family and friends.

As a skilled home cook, Sharon passed down her kitchen wisdom to her daughters, imparting the gift of cooking with love and care. Serving as a caregiver to many within her extended family and circle of friends, Sharon embraced the title of "Mimi," endearing herself to a multitude of hearts with her nurturing presence.

As we reflect on the life of Sharon Bishop, we see a woman whose legacy of love, creativity, care, and sass will endure in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will forever be a beacon of light in our lives, guiding us with the warmth and love she so generously shared.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father Walter James Searle; husband of 61 years Clifton Bishop; son Clifton Bishop Jr..  She is survived by her mother Wanda Searle; daughters Leslie Deremer and her husband Neal, and Brandy Whiteley and her husband Michael; brothers Gerry and Roger Searle; sister Jana Searle; grandchildren Ethan and Evan (Mercedees) Deremer, Alyssa, Kennedy and Aaron Whiteley; great-grandchildren Barrett Smith, Wesson Deremer, and a great-grandson on the way.

Sharon will be cremated then laid to rest with her husband at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery On Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
