Sonya Joyce Mann of Poteet, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the age of 79.  She was born in Poteet, on August 21, 1945, to Curtis and Lucille (Schneider) Wright.

She was preceded in death by her parents and older sister, Opal Wright, and is survived by an extensive family of love and numerous friends.

A visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 21, 2025, at Hurley Funeral Home, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  Saturday, March 22, 2025 a funeral service will take place in the Hurley Funeral Home chapel, starting at 10:00 am followed by burial at Tumlinson Cemetery.
