Stephanie G. Riley was born on November 11, 1963, in Jourdanton and she left this world on Thursday, April 11, 2024.

Stephanie was known for her fondness of crossword puzzles and her green thumb, always caring for her beloved plants with a smile on her face.  Her cheerful demeanor and infectious smile touched all who knew her, and her love for shopping was no secret. She could often be found out and about, searching for the next great deal.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Riley; children, Shelby and Colby Riley; granddaughters, Sterling Riley and Ivy Riley; sisters, Tina Buratovich, Elizabeth Myers, Natasha Santellano (Mike); brothers, Milton Groff, Jr. (Rosemary), Carlos Deleon (Alicia); father-in-law, Marshall Riley and mother-in-law, Jeanette Riley and sisters-in-law Vicki and Lori Riley along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom she loved dearly.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Riley; mother, Lois Deleon; and father, Milton Groff, Sr.

Services for Stephanie are scheduled for Wednesday, April 17, 2024, in the Hurley Funeral Home chapel, starting with a visitation from 10:00 am until 11:15 am, with a graveside service starting at 12:00 pm at Rutledge Cemetery in Poteet.
