Susan Marie Duncan, 70, passed away on July 11, 2026, in San Antonio, TX. She was born on August 23, 1955, in Houma, LA, to Raymond Domangue and Nora (White) Domangue.

Susan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Duncan; her parents; sister, Christine "Chris" Eschete; and brother, Wesley Domangue.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving daughter, Rindy Myers (Jason); brothers, Sherwood Domangue (Kim), Sherwin Domangue (Tara); sisters, Norma Lebouef (Alley), Pamela Blanchard (Wayne); her beloved grandchildren, Fallon Evans, Landon Evans, Parker Duncan; great-grandchildren, Aspen Evans and Nikkio Evans; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and treasured friends.

Susan dedicated her life to caring for others. As a registered nurse, she compassionately served countless patients throughout her career, many of whom expressed their gratitude through heartfelt cards that she treasured. Her kindness extended far beyond her profession. She faithfully supported women's and children's shelters, and many charitable causes, always giving generously to those in need. Even in her final days, Susan continued to make donations to causes close to her heart.

Known for her fiery Cajun spirit, Susan was truly one of a kind. She was spicy, sassy, straightforward, and never afraid to speak her mind. Her quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and honest advice made her someone people naturally turned to for guidance. She loved deeply, cared fiercely, and had a gift for making others feel valued.

Susan found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved animals, enjoyed working puzzles, celebrated holidays with enthusiasm, and delighted in finding the perfect gift for those she loved. She was passionate about reading and encouraged her daughter and grandchildren to discover the love of reading. She was a wonderful friend, a devoted mother and grandmother, and a constant caregiver whose generous heart touched countless lives.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, Susan's compassion, strength, humor, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m., with a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home.

Susan's family invites all who knew and loved her to join them in celebrating a life beautifully lived and a legacy of kindness that will never be forgotten.
