Thomas "Tommy" Earl Disbro, age 75, of Pleasanton, Texas, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023. He was born on April 22, 1948, to Linwood and Louise Disbro in Falfurrias, Texas.

After Tommy graduated from Premont High School, he served as a combat medic in the U.S. Army National Guard for six years. He went on to have a career in the natural gas industry with Valero Energy Corporation. During this time, he was also a board member of the Valero Federal Credit Union, regional committee member of the South Texas Heart Association, and a member of Pleasanton Jaycees. While working for Valero, he received the Key Man Award for outstandingly promoting safety among his employees.

Tommy retired from Valero after serving for 28 and a half years. He then went on to own and operate Lone Oak Enterprises, manage the military working dogs training facility at Lackland Air Force Base, work as a boat captain on the San Antonio Riverwalk, serve as a pipeline safety consultant for various natural gas pipeline construction companies, and became a member of the Atascosa County Medical Examiner Transport.

Tommy is predeceased by his parents, Linwood and Louise Disbro.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jolene of Pleasanton, TX; a daughter, Shannon Disbro Ripple (Jason) of Cedar Park, TX; a daughter, Tara Disbro Levantovich (Matthew) of Frederick, MD; sister, Marjorie Disbro Alloy (Michael) of Georgetown, TX; 4 grandchildren, Carter Thomas Ripple, Addison Rae Ripple, Ava Grace Levantovich, and Mia Claire Levantovich; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tommy lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as going on family vacations to the Frio River, hunting (especially on his annual Myane Ranch trip), feeding and photographing deer at the ranch, participating in multiple charity skeet shooting events, watching college football, having morning coffee with his friends, and spending time with his beloved cats and dogs, whom he treated like family.

Services will be held at First Methodist Church of Pleasanton, on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 11:30 a.m.
