The joyful spirit of Thomas Marvin Foster, born on June 15, 1966, filled our lives with love, laughter, and cherished memories. It is with both heavy hearts and a profound appreciation for the beautiful life he led that we announce his passing on December 5, 2023 in Jourdanton, TX, at the age of 57.

Thomas, or Tom to his friends, was a proud native of Jourdanton, TX, and a beloved son, brother, father and friend. Throughout his life, he touched the hearts of countless individuals with his infectious smile and unwavering kindness. A pillar of strength in his community, Tom was deeply devoted to his wife, Jill, whom he shared his life and dreams with, and his son Zane, whom he treasured.

In his early years, Tom embraced his adventurous spirit and pursued his passions fearlessly. He approached life with an exuberant energy and a zest for exploration. Whether it was hosting parties with friends, or spending time working cattle, Tom found solace and excitement in the simple pleasures of life.  He loved watching high school and college football, was a huge fan of NASCAR, and loved spending time with his son Zane, especially when they flew his drone together.

Tom's first joy came from his loving relationship with his wife, Jill. Their union symbolized a deep connection built on trust, respect, and shared dreams. Together, they created a haven filled with love, laughter, and endless memories. Their journey was one of unconditional love and unwavering support, serving as a guiding example to all those who had the privilege of knowing them.  They chose to expand their family and share that loving spirit when they adopted Zane at only 14 months old.  He made their family complete, and made Tom proud father.

As we celebrate Tom's remarkable life, we invite you to join us in honoring his memory. Funeral services will be held starting on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 with visitaton at 3pm at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton, lasting until 7pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Jourdanton, with burial to follow at St. Matthew Catholic Cemetery.

Tom Foster was a beacon of light in our lives, and his departure leaves an indescribable void that will be deeply felt by all. Let us remember him for his infectious laughter, his unwavering strength, and the compassion he shared with everyone he encountered. Though his physical presence may be gone, his spirit will forever live on in our hearts, guiding us through life's challenges with the same unwavering love he bestowed upon us.

Tom is survived by his loving wife Jill Foster, son Zane Thomas Foster, sisters Mona Dornak (Darrell) and Elizabeth Foster, father in law Bubba Watts, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.  Tom was preceded in death by his twin boys Will Patrick Foster and Zackery Ben Foster, and his parents Marvin Herman Foster and Ann Pesek Foster.

Serving as pall bearers are Justin Watts, Chris Mueller, Mike Baring, Bubba Robbins, Jason Vick and Robbie McCarn.  Honorary pall bearers are Bob Graves, David Pesek and Darrell Dornak.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom's honor to a charity of your choice.
