Tom H. Ogden Jr, age 78, passed away peacefully in his home on October 10, 2024, surrounded by his family.  He was born on September 8, 1946, in Poteet, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Father Tom Ogden Sr., mother Minnie Brown Ogden, brother Freddy Ogden and sister-in-law Dana Ogden.

He is survived by his wife Guadalupe Sisnero Ogden; sons Tom Ogden III, Christopher (Deborah) Ogden, Timothy John Ogden; and granddaughter Madison Nicole Ogden.

Tom served with honor in the army during the Vietnam War and received a Purple Heart.  He loved to be outdoors and on the ranch hunting.  He found joy in feeding and watching the deer in his backyard.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the reciting of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024 at St. Matthew Catholic Church followed by interment at Ogden-Dawson Cemetery.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Fred Ogden Jr, William Ogden, Mark Ogden, Erik Ogden, Charles Camarillo and Joseph Brown.
