Toni Rae Riley, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, was born on July 1, 1954, in Jourdanton, Texas. She peacefully departed this life on December 31, 2024, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her.

Toni was a devoted homemaker, who dedicated her life to her family. She was known for her warm spirit and nurturing nature, always ensuring that her grandchildren were cared for and spoiled with love. An avid lover of music, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often swimming in the river and celebrating the magic of Christmas with her family. Her beautiful soul emanated kindness, and she was always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear whenever anyone was in need.

Toni is survived by her children, Leigh Ann Collins, Jay Riley, and Zachary Riley, stepdaughter Jamette Moyer (Michael). She is also survived by her mother, Johnnie Nixon (Stevens), and her treasured grandchildren, who were the light of her life: Bradley, Brayden, Brenton, Courtney, Garrison, Kaylee, Kristen, Jaycee, Meagan, Quinton and Shelby; great-grandchildren Ainsley, Anderson, Brandon, Catalina, Chloe, Ellie, Harold, Kacela, Laurence, Wayden, Weston and Wylie;  Her brother David Nixon and sister Kim Nixon; nephews Trey Nixon and Jody Nixon; and niece Lacey Hogan; as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: Husband David Riley, father Quinton Nixon, daughter Allison Akers, and her brother Lee Nixon.

Family will gather to honor Toni's life during a visitation at Hurley Funeral Home on January 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Toni will be laid to rest at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in a graveside service on January 13, 2025, at 10:30 AM.

Toni Rae Riley leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion, and she will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace.
