Velma L. Ramirez 68, of Dilley Tx., gained her wings on Thursday, March 31, 2022, in San Antonio Tx., with her family by her side.

Velma is preceded by her parents, Lasaro and Guadalupe Lumbreras, brother, Lasaro Luis Lumbreras, son in law, Carlos Martinez Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Rodolfo Ramirez, sons, Cachi Ramirez, Rogelio, and wife Rosalva, Brandon Ramirez, daughters, Vanessa Ramirez, Velinda Ramirez, Vettina (Vicente) Ramirez, grandchildren, Marcus, Ezra, Ezequiel, Aaron, Carlos III, Liam, Zayden, Zaria, siblings, Dora (Ricardo), Diana (Frank), Consuelo (Arturo), Humberto Gil (Elvia), Daniel (Vicky), numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A prayer service will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 6:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of life will be held Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Dilley Cemetery.
