Vicenta L. Garza was born on January 22, 1939, to Atanacio and Atilana Loza. She passed away surrounded by her loving family on August 2, 2021, at the age of 82 in Pearsall, Texas.

Vicenta was preceded in death by her first husband, Santos Martinez, husband, Francisco R. Garza; brother, Aristeo Loza, Frank Loza, Miguel Loza; sister, Victoria Morales, and son, Adam Martinez.

She is survived by her sons, David L. Martinez (Janie), Abel Martinez (Korie); daughter, Rosa, and husband, Reynaldo Hernandez; sisters, Juanita Trono, Felipa Haro; grandchildren, Jonathan, Zoe, Meg, Jose Luis, Rey, Steven, Abigail, Michael; great-grandchildren, Steven, Jayce, Hannah, Taevian, Jaden, Elizabeth, Keziah, Sarai, Julian, Jadan and Emma.

A memorial rosary will be recited at 9:30 am on Saturday, August 21, 2021, followed by a memorial mass at 10:00 am at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Natalia, Texas with the interment to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Devine, Texas.
