Vicente Valero III, age 17, of Christine passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 in Jourdanton. He was born Thursday, November 16, 2000 in San Antonio to Vicente and Dora (Galindo) Valero Jr.  Vicente loved being involved with the stock show, especially showing his hogs. He enjoyed being in the Jr. High and High School Band. From 2008 – 2014 he was a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Vicente is survived by his parents, paternal grandmother, Jesusa Valero; maternal grandparents, Luis and Leonor Galindo; aunt and uncles, Yolanda Galindo, Raul Galindo and wife Maria, Gaspar Galindo and wife Mariela, Baltazar Galindo and wife Claudia, Daniel Valero and wife Naomi, Antonio Valero and wife Norma, and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Vicente Valero Sr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Hurley Funeral Home, 118 W. Oaklawn Road in Pleasanton from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 10:00 AM, at the First Baptist Church, 173 Yule Avenue in Charlotte. Interment will follow in Chilipitin Cemetery outside Charlotte.
