Victor Arguijo, Jr.

December 16, 1946 - February 27, 2025

Victor Arguijo, Jr., age 78 of Poteet, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 27, 2025. Victor was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 16, 1946, to Victor and Janie Arguijo and was raised in Pleasanton, Texas.

Victor is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Susie; his children, Monica (Noel), Rene, and Andrew; and his siblings, Eva, Delia, and Adam; along with seven loving grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Joseph, his sister, Rita and his brother, Willie.

Victor graduated from Pleasanton High School in 1966 and enlisted in the United States Air Force the same year. He served in Vietnam and returned to San Antonio as a recruiter and rose to the rank of Technical Sergeant.  Victor retired from the Air Force in 1988. After his service to our Country, Victor joined his wife to own and manage their convenience store, Quick Stop, in Poteet.

A public viewing will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Rosary being held at 7:00 pm.  A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Poteet, followed by the interment at 11:15 am at the Garcia Family Cemetery.
