Victor Jesus Gonzales passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the age of 70.  He was born in Flint, Michigan on December 23, 1953, to Barbarito Gonzales and Sulema (Navarro) Gonzales.

Victor was a skilled carpenter who took pride in his work and expertise. Victor was known for his love of horses and was even a former horse jockey in his younger years. In his spare time, he enjoyed dancing, playing music, and sharing jokes with those around him.

Victor was a member of the Knights of Columbus and found great joy in serving others through his faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Felipe Gonzales.

Victor is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Gonzales (Jesus), Kayla Gonzales and Lorenza Gonzales; grandchildren, Iris Gonzales, Kaia Gonzales and Aliya Casares; step-daughters, Melissa Camacho and Lisa Aguirre; sisters, Lorenza "Laura" Frothingham (Tad), Rebecca Garcia and Esther Lee; brothers, Joe Gonzales, Eduardo "Eddie" Gonzales (Dale) and Arnulfo "Arnie" Gonzales; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family.

A visitation for Victor is scheduled for Friday, May 31, 2024, at Hurley Funeral Home, starting at 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, with a reciting of the rosary at 7:00 pm.  Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, starting at 12:00 pm.  Burial will follow at a later date.
