Victoria Gonzales Sanchez of Charlotte passed away August 21, 2023, at the age of 84.  She was born November 8, 1938, in Tilden to Juan and Juanita (Delgado) Gonzales.

Victoria loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was a thoughtful and caring person.  She was a lifelong member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church where she was also a member of the Guadalupanas.  Victoria had a passion for making tamales, cooking, listening to music, dancing and enjoying her family and friends.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Rudolfo Sanchez; granddaughter, Michelle Longoria-Villarreal; parents, Juan and Juanita Gonzales; brothers, Pedro Gonzales and Natividad Gonzales and sisters, Andrea Gonzales, Dominga Bonnett, Maria O'Conner and Maria Gonzales.

Victoria is survived by her children, Rachel Longoria, Ricky Sanchez and wife Rosemary and Rudy Sanchez and Alex; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sisters, Canda Beatty and Arlinda Harbaugh.

A visitation is scheduled for Monday, August 28, 2023 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Charlotte, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am, with a reciting of the rosary at 11:00 am, followed by a mass at 11:30.  Burial will be a Charlotte Community Cemetery.
