Winnifred "Winnie" Virginia Hurt passed away in Pleasanton on Friday, April 11, 2025 at the age of 95.  She was born on October 5, 1929 in Schertz, Texas to Ansel M. White and Loretta (Cobb) White.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ansel White and Loretta Cobb White; and husband, Arthur "Sonny" Hurt, Jr.

Winnie is survived by her daughter, Pamela Kay Hindes (Roy); sons, Richard Lee Hurt (Mindy) and Robert Frank Hurt (Cynthia); grandchildren, Travis Hurt, Morriss Hurt, Kristi Schulte, Cuatro Hindes, Rebecca Rothlisberger and Jacob Hurt; 13 great-grandchildren; along with numerous extended family and friends.

A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Dewville Cemetery, located at the intersection of CR 543 and FM 1117 in Nixon, Texas, starting at 2:00 pm.
