It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leonard "Yogi" Stroman Moore, 71, of Buda, Texas, who left us on February 14, 2026. Leonard was born on December 18, 1954, in Sinton, Texas, and grew up in the Gregory‑Portland area, where his charm, humor, and unforgettable personality quickly became his signature.

He graduated from Gregory‑Portland High School, remembered for his big smile, his dancing, and his ability to make friends everywhere he went.

Leonard married the love of his life, Lisa Moore, and together they shared 40 years of devotion, laughter, and partnership. He was a loving father to Jarod Daniel Moore, who he adored deeply. Leonard lived life with passion.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jean Moore and Jerry Moore. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Moore; his son Jarod Daniel Moore and daughter‑in‑law Heather Moore; his grandchildren who affectionately called him Papa Stash", Paxton "Cash" Moore and Roxsen "Paycheck" Moore; siblings Ricky Moore, Ann Isaacks and her husband Michael Isaacks, Lee Moore and his wife Cindy Moore, Barbara Sewell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews who loved him dearly.

Leonard's final years were marked by courage as he faced significant health challenges, with Lisa faithfully by his side. His life was full, creative, and uniquely his. His memory will continue to live on in the stories, laughter, and love he leaves behind.
