Zachary Peña
Mancha, Jr.
Sep 7, 2022 — Jan 29, 2023
Poteet
Zachary Peña Mancha, Jr. was born to Jewellissa Peña and Zachary Mancha on September 7, 2022, at University Hospital at 4:48 am, weighing 7 pounds.
He was born with a congenital heart disease and had his first open heart surgery at just two weeks into his life. He's been through so much and fought so hard and now he can finally rest.
On Sunday, January 29, 2023, Zachary gained his wings. Zachary never failed to keep us on our toes and smiling through his short time here with us, continuously bringing joy and happiness to everyone who had the opportunity to meet and love him.
Zachary will forever be remembered and loved by his parents, Jewellissa Peña and Zachary Mancha, Sr.; grandparents, Roger Peña, Virginia Peña, and Rudy and Lupe Mancha; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; godparents, AnaLisa Mancha and Noel Peña, and so many more of those were impacted by his loving presence.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, David and Augustina Mancha, Jose and Vicenta Sauceda, Manuel Cantu, Julio Vela, Sebastiana Rodriguez and Michael Peña.
Zachary always made sure to add a little chaos to the everyday lives of those who cared for him, while also managing to steal their hearts. Zachary had us on a rollercoaster ride his entire life, taking us to our highest highs and lowest lows, but never failed to leave us smiling at the end of the day. He will be remembered and missed by many, but never forgotten.
Visitation will be conducted at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church at 274 Avenue H in Poteet on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Casias Cemetery.
