Zachary Thomas
Wiederhold
May 13, 1994 — May 29, 2024
Poteet
On the evening of May 29, 2024, our son, Zachary Thomas Wiederhold, went to meet our Lord at the miracle age of 30 years old. Zach was a true gift we received from God who blessed us every day with his contagious smile. Although he did not speak words, he spoke to us in the language of Love. His smile would not only make you smile but fill your heart with his love.
Zachary was born in New York City on May 13, 1994. He was survived by his parents; Erich and Joan Wiederhold; his siblings, Miranda, Liliana and husband, Darren Rodriguez, and Isabella; his nieces and nephews, Jaxon Rodriguez, Calvin Rodriguez, Raelyn Aguero, and Remi Aguero; his Godparents, Gerardo Reyes and Lucy Garvin; and his loving lap dog, Maggie.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Ben and Maria Reyes and Francia Wiederhold.
Zachary attended both Pleasanton ISD and then Poteet ISD where he graduated and walked the stage with his sister, Miranda, in 2014. Attending school was one of his favorite things to do. He loved watching his nieces and nephews run around the house and would light up when they climbed up on his chair and into his bed to see him. He absolutely loved the "Happy Birthday" song and would smile ear to ear for everybody's birthday celebrations like it was his birthday every time.
We will forever cherish the memories and happiness that Zachary brought to everyone who was privileged to know him.
