Zachery Jacob Rodriguez, age 23, of Pleasanton, passed away on August 21, 2023.

Our family was blessed on June 12, 2000, when Jake was born to Michelle Garcia and Felix Rodriguez Jr. With the birth of their second son, Michelle and Felix moved back home to Pleasanton from Baytown. Jake was raised in Pleasanton, attended PISD and earned his GED in 2018. He was recently working towards earning hours towards his apprentice electrician's license. Jake was strong-willed and independent. Since day one, he liked to do things his own way in his own time.

Jake was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Patsy Brawner (Nana) and paternal grandfather, Felix Rodriguez Sr (Popo).

He is survived by his parents, Michelle Garcia and Felix Rodriguez Jr; stepmom, Tonya Rodriguez; brothers, Zavier, Felix, Zane and Jaxson; nephew and nieces, Anzel, Anikyn, and Ayden; grandpa, Candido Garcia and his momo, Mary Rodriguez. With large families from both parents, he has numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins that will miss him.

A visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral home on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with memorial service at 11:00 am.  Services will conclude after the service.
