Juan Jose Fonseca, age 61 of Bigfoot, Texas passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. He was born on August 12, 1960, to parents, Augustine and Romana Gomez Fonseca in Mercedes, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Amalia Gomez; children, Sandy Fonseca, Juan Fonseca, Gabriel Fonseca and wife, Michelle Castro, April Fonseca, Rolando Fonseca, and Augustine Fonseca; brothers, Daniel Fonseca and wife, Lupe Fonseca, Hector Fonseca and wife, Ramona Fonseca; sister, Aida Valenzuela and husband, Valdemar Valenzuela; fourteen grandchildren.

Juan is preceded in death by his parents, Augustine and Romana Fonseca; sister, Lydia Guzman and husband, Julian Guzman.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 4, 2021, 12:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. Hurley Funeral Home Chapel Devine, Texas with services concluding at the funeral home.
