Juan Rodriguez, age 79, of Leming, Texas, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016.  Juan was born in Campbellton, Texas to Antonio Benitez and Cecelia (Romero) Rodriguez.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Rodriguez, of Leming, Texas, sons John Joe Rodriguez and wife Darla and John Roderick "Rawdy" Rodriguez and wife Maria Esther both of Leming, Texas, daughter Monica R. Valdez and husband Alex of Leming, Texas, brother Severiano Rodriguez of Louisiana, sister Francisca Rodriguez-Rodriguez of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews
Juan is preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Ceclia Rodriguez, brother Marcelino Rodriguez, sister Josephine Quinonez, half-sibling Antonio Romero, Jesus Antu and Maria Benavidez.
A visitation will be Monday, July 4, 2016 from 2:00 PM 9:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.  An 11:00 AM funeral mass will be Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Leming, Texas.   Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Leming, Texas.  Anyone wishing to leave condolences for the family may do so at www.hurleyfuneralhome.com
