Mary Martinez of Leming, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022, at the age of 49.  She was born August 17, 1972, in Jourdanton to Francisco, Sr., and Maria Elena (Valles) Martinez.

Mary was a loving daughter, sister, friend and above all else an amazing mother to three beautiful children.  There is no one else on Earth like Mary.

She is survived by her parents, Franciso, Sr. and Maria Martinez; sons, Gilbert Soto and wife Claudia and Alexander Soto and husband Aaron; daughter, April Soto and fiancée Jesse; brothers, Isaac Martinez and wife Lydia and Francisco Martinez, Jr. and sister, Rebecca Bueno and husband Raymond.  Mary is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Eli Dwight Soto and Jesabellah Ivy Soto and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary is preceded in death by her sister, Jessica Martinez and nephew, Isaac Martinez "Nuno", Jr.

Words cannot describe the loss and heartbreak we felt saying farewell or see you later.  Thank you for everything you have done for every one of us.  Letting you go was the hardest thing but knowing that you are whole again and at peace gives us peace and comfort, that you gave your life to Christ and will be watching over us.

Visitation will be conducted at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, with funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Leming.
