Michael R. Hardy, 74, beloved Husband, was called to his eternal resting place on July 21, 2021. He entered this world on April 28, 1947 in San Antonio, Texas and resided in Dilley, Texas for 72 years.  He was born to Charles D. and Margaret Hardy. Mike is preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Hardy. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Nancy Hardy; daughters, Shauna Hardy (Gilbert), Kristin Hardy (Danny); grandchildren, Kali, Alyssa, Emory, Jesse and Xavier; sister, Diane Marx and husband, David; niece, Charlotte Harper (Mike); nephew, Dave Marx (Liz). Mike served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1972. He was an avid rancher and enjoyed being outdoors every chance he could.  Mike's passion was for hog hunting in his earlier days with his buddies. The love for his grandchildren now was beyond any measures. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 4pm-6pm at Hurley Funeral Home in Pearsall, Texas.  A service will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 10am at First United Methodist Church in Dilley, Texas with interment to follow in the Covey Chapel Cemetery in Dilley, Texas.
