Norma Cubriel Gonzales, 62, of Pearsall, made a glorious exit to be with our lord on January 22, 2O21. She is preceded in death by her father, Oscar G. "Sonny" Cubriel, and her husband, Edward S. Gonzales.

Surviving relatives include her mother, lsabel Cubriel; children Jennifer Gonzales, Justin and Jessie Gonzales, Jaclyn and Gonzalo Gonzales; her companion Jose Navarro; grandchildren Jaren and Miranda Gonzales, Jayden Gonzales, Jaelen Gonzales; her "fur-grandbaby" Chanel, and her soon-to-be great-grandson Baby J.; siblings Oscar Cubriel Jr., Noe and Dulce Cubriel, Jaime and Dora Cubriel, lrma Cubriel and Chano Delgado, and Edna and Rene Adame; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and aunts and uncles that will miss her dearly, along with her best friend and her best friend and "go-to for everything", Delia and Weyo Gonzales.

She will be remembered and missed by many as she was one of a kind.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 28, 2021, in the Hurley Funeral Home of Pearsall, from 4:00 PM until 6:30 PM. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 29,2O21 at 1:00 PM in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Frio County Cemetery next to her husband. Pallbearers will include Rene Adame Sr., Luis Gonzales Sr., Luis Gonzales Jr., Chano Delgado, Johnny Perez, Oscar Cubriel lll, and Randy Cubriel. Honorary Pallbearer is Justin Gonzales.
